Kawasaki announced the arrival of the new Z900RS 2027 in the Brazilian market. The line maintains the neo-retro proposal inspired by the historic Z1 from 1972, but now incorporates a series of electronic features and mechanical updates. The new Japanese will be sold in three versions: Z900RS, Z900RS Café and Z900RS SE.

Visually, the model preserves classic elements of the Z1, such as the traditionally shaped tank, the rounded silhouette and the retro finishes. The brand, however, updated the motorcycle’s technological platform to bring it closer to modern high-displacement naked.

Among the main equipment are electronic throttle (Ride-by-Wire), Kawasaki traction control (KTRC), Cruise Control, bidirectional Quick Shifter, smartphone connectivity via the Rideology app and a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), responsible for integrating electronic safety and stability systems.

The engine remains the well-known 948 cm³ in-line four-cylinder, now revised with new intake and exhaust camshafts. According to Kawasaki, the changes improve response at low and medium revs and increase power and torque at high revs. The maximum power disclosed is 116 hp.

The ergonomics were also changed and the handlebars became lower and narrower, seeking a more natural riding position, while the seat received a new design to improve rider and pillion comfort.
