The Honda Sahara 300 was the motorcycle with the lowest devaluation rate in the Brazilian market in 2026, according to the 10th edition of the Highest Resale Value Seal – Motorcycles (SMVR-Motos), promoted by the Autoinform Agency. The model recorded depreciation of only 1.9% after one year of use, winning the study’s main recognition.

In all, 27 categories were evaluated in this edition. Kawasaki, Yamaha and Honda concentrated most of the prizes, adding up to 13 victories. Kawasaki led the way among the brands, with five winning models, while Honda and Yamaha obtained four achievements each.

The award ceremony took place this Thursday (8), in São Paulo. In addition to the most awarded manufacturers, models from Harley-Davidson, Kymco, Piaggio, Polaris, Royal Enfield, Shineray, Triumph and Vespa also received certifications in their respective categories.

According to the organizers, the objective of the study is to highlight the importance of resale value as an indicator of quality, after-sales and brand loyalty, especially in high-investment, work or leisure vehicles.

According to Joel Leite, director of the Autoinforme Agency, the survey compares the sale price of the zero-kilometer vehicle with the value practiced by the same model after one year of use in the Brazilian market. The study considers real market prices and disregards exceptional situations, such as excess inventory or lack of product, which may distort the results.

The 2026 edition also brought news by including tricycles, quadricycles (ATVs) and off-road utility vehicles (UTVs) in the analysis.

As explained by Luiz Cipolli Junior, a researcher at the Autoinform Agency, the study evaluated 222 models from different manufacturers. In addition to the winning brands, models from Avelloz, Bajaj, BMW, BRP, Dafra, Ducati, Haojue, Husqvarna, KTM, Suzuki, Zontes and other manufacturers present in the national market participated in the survey.
