Honda NXR 160 Bros 2027 gets what it needed to be ‘complete’
Lighting set is the highlight in the year's version and prices rise by up to R$ 580; year/model starts at R$ 22.830

Honda presented the 2027 NXR 160 Bros line with a package of punctual updates, focused on signaling and colors. The two versions, CBS and ABS, gain LED turn signals, hazard lights and headlight flashers, while the top of the line now has the ESS (Emergency Stop Signal), a system that automatically activates the direction indicators in emergency braking. The trail arrives at dealerships in October, with suggested prices of R$ 22.830 (CBS) and R$ 23.970 (ABS).
The novelty completes the last major change that the model underwent, when in 2025 it received the version with ABS brakes, LED headlight and flashlight, panel with gear indicator, USB-C port and larger diameter front suspension (from 31 mm to 33 mm).

Prices and versions of the Honda NXR 160 Bros 2027:
- NXR 160 Bros 2027 CBS: BRL 22.830 (2026 line: BRL 22.400), in red and black
- NXR 160 Bros 2027 ABS: BRL 23.970 (2026 line: BRL 23.390), in red and green
LED turn signals arrive after the headlight and flashlight
In the 2025 update, the LED was restricted to the headlight and taillight, and the turn signals remained conventional. For 2027, the turn signals will also be LED, which tends to better identify the bike for other drivers.
Both versions also receive front position indicators integrated into the headlight assembly, which work as position lights. The hazard lights help in situations such as a stop on the side of the road or a road breakdown, and the flasher on the left handle allows you to signal an overtaking or draw the attention of another driver without keeping the high beam on.
ESS is restricted to the ABS
version The main safety novelty is exclusive to the most expensive version. The ESS identifies sudden braking and automatically turns on the warning flasher, warning those behind that the motorcycle is stopping suddenly. It is a useful feature especially in urban traffic and on highways, where rear-end collisions are a risk for the motorcyclist.
As a result, the distance between the versions increases. The NXR 160 Bros ABS continues with single-channel ABS, which acts only on the front disc. The CBS, on the other hand, uses the combined braking system, in which the pedal operation distributes braking force to both wheels. The price difference between them went from R$ 990 in the 2026 line to R$ 1.140 in the 2027.
Green debuts on Honda NXR 160 Bros 2027 ABS and CBS gains black
option Red (Fighting Red) is still available in both versions. ABS now has the green option (Explorer Green), and CBS, black (Black), colors that Honda classifies as unprecedented in the model.
Engine and chassis are out of the changes
The engine follows the 162.7 cm³, four-stroke, single-cylinder, with OHC control, air cooling and PGM-FI FlexOne electronic injection, which accepts ethanol and gasoline. There are up to 14.3 hp of power and torque of 1.47 kgfm considering ethanol. For gasoline, the power does not change, but the power drops to 14.2 hp. The dry weight is 125 kg in both versions.
The chassis has not changed either. Bros maintains the semi-double cradle steel chassis, the telescopic front suspension with 33 mm diameter tubes, adopted in the 2025 line, and the monoshock at the rear. The wheels are 19 and 17 rims, shod with Pirelli MT60 tires, mixed-use, compatible with the proposal of running both on asphalt and dirt.
Prices rise up to R$ 580
The adjustment for the 2027 line was R$ 430 in the CBS version (about 1.9%) and R$ 580 in ABS (about 2.5%). The values are suggested for São Paulo (SP) and do not include freight or insurance.
The increase is small from one year to the next, but weighs more when compared to the launch of the 2025 line. At the time, the CBS cost R$ 20.490 and the ABS, R$ 21.390. In two model years, the entry-level version was R$ 2.340 more expensive (about 11.4%) and the top-of-the-line, R$ 2.580 (about 12.1%), with no changes in the engine or chassis since then.
Warranty is 3 years, no mileage
limit The NXR 160 Bros 2027 has a 3-year warranty, with no mileage limit. Honda also offers free Pro Honda oil in seven revisions, but the benefit is only valid from the third; the labor of the revisions remains at the owner’s expense. The first revision takes place at 1.000 km or 6 months, and the following ones every 6.000 km or 6 months.
