CFMoto Brasil has officially confirmed the arrival of its first motorcycles in the Brazilian market. The CFMoto Ibex 450, Ibex 700, CLC 450 and CLC 450 Bobber models will have prices, equipment and technical details released on May 28, at 7 pm, during a live broadcast on the brand’s official YouTube channel.

The announcement made in the third week of May marks the official start of the Chinese manufacturer’s operation in the motorcycle segment in Brazil, after a period of network preparation, homologations and structuring of the national operation. According to the company, the strategy prioritized the consolidation of infrastructure before commercial expansion.

The brand has been operating in the country for more than 11 years through the off-road and utility vehicle division, CFMoto Powersports, responsible for the sale of quadricycles and UTVs. Now, the manufacturer is betting on the growth of its presence in the Brazilian motorcycle market.

According to Ricardo Kasaki, commercial director of CFMoto Brasil, the company chose to advance in the segment only after consolidating aspects considered fundamental for the operation.

We chose to prioritize predictability, risk mitigation and sustainability before any commercial acceleration, ensuring a consistent entry in line with the brand’s global standard,” said the executive.

The movement gained strength during the Interlagos Festival 2025, when CFMoto presented more than 12 motorcycles to the public and carried out an open survey to define the first models sold in the country. According to the manufacturer, more than 25 thousand people participated in the popular vote.

After defining the initial line-up, the company advanced in stages such as homologation of the models, training of the local team, development of the dealership network and preparation of production in the CKD system at the Manaus plant.

For Urano Carvalho, head of motorcycles at CFMoto Brazil, the arrival of the brand goes beyond the presentation of new products to the national market.

“Building CFMoto’s presence in the country has always been about writing a chapter with a beginning, middle and continuity. Each decision was made looking at the long term: a prepared network, confident customers and products that combine state-of-the-art technology, premium standards and real access to the Brazilian market. Our commitment is that this experience is sustained over time”, he highlighted.

The after-sales structure is also part of the manufacturer’s initial strategy. According to the brand, the operation will start with more than 60 thousand pieces available for network service and customer support.

In addition to the launch of the motorcycles, the company confirmed the simultaneous opening of eight dealerships in Brazil on May 30, expanding the brand’s physical presence in the country.

For Gabriel Maschietto, CEO of CFMoto Brasil, the company sought to structure a solid operation before accelerating commercial announcements.

“Brazil is a sophisticated, demanding and highly informed market. From the beginning, we understood that launching motorcycles here could not be a hasty decision. We chose to listen to the public, structure the operation and communicate each step with transparency,” he said.

The executive also highlighted that the participation of the public helped define the brand’s first steps in the country.

“We prefer to invest time in structuring well rather than speeding up ads. Today, we deliver to the market a portfolio defined by the consumer himself, an organized network and an operation prepared to grow consistently. This is how we understand, in practice, the concept of Experience More Together”, he concluded.

Initial network will have eight dealerships in seven cities

As part of the official debut in the Brazilian market, CFMoto confirmed the simultaneous opening of eight dealerships in the country on May 30. Rio de Janeiro will be the only Brazilian city to have two stores in the first phase of the operation.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ)

The Rio de Janeiro market was chosen as one of the brand’s main bets at the beginning of its operations. The two dealerships in the city will be managed by the Raion Group, a company that has been operating in the automotive sector since 2000 and has a consolidated presence in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

The division into two addresses seeks to expand the geographic coverage of the city and serve different regions of Rio de Janeiro.

Cascadura Unit

Av. Dom Helder Câmara, 8966 – Cascadura

Barra da Tijuca Unit

Av. Lúcio Costa, 6388 – Barra da Tijuca

São Paulo (SP)

In the capital of São Paulo, the operation will be under the responsibility of Group 10, which will run the first exclusive CFMoto store focused on the motorcycle segment.

The choice of Vila Leopoldina positions the brand in a region with a strong concentration of dealerships and easy access for consumers in the capital and Greater São Paulo.

Address: Schilling, 195 – Vila Leopoldina

Piracicaba (SP)

In the interior of São Paulo, the expansion will be conducted by the Virage Group, a partner that already operates with the manufacturer’s off-road line in Brazil.

The opening of the unit marks the expansion of the partnership to the street motorcycle segment. The city was chosen as a strategic point to serve the interior of São Paulo.

Address: Av. Dona Francisca, 758 – Vila Rezende

Curitiba (PR)

The capital of Paraná will receive one of the most awaited concessionaires of this first phase of the operation.

The unit will be under the responsibility of Brava Motors, a group already known in the Curitiba market for its work with brands such as Bajaj, Kawasaki and Dafra.

According to the company, previous experience with manufacturers of different profiles should facilitate CFMoto’s insertion in the region. The store will be installed in an area traditionally linked to the city’s automotive trade.

Address: Desembargador Westphalen, 2747 – Parolin

Florianópolis (SC)

In Santa Catarina, the representation of the brand will be with Grupo Geração, a company with about 25 years of experience in the state automotive sector.

The choice of Florianópolis expands CFMoto’s presence in a market with strong demand for motorcycles aimed at tourism and urban travel. The unit will be installed in the continental region of the capital of Santa Catarina.

Address: General Liberato Bittencourt, 1885 – Rooms 606 and 607 – Estreito

Caxias do Sul (RS)

The city of Rio Grande do Sul will have an operation managed by the M3 Racing Group, a partner already linked to CFMoto through the off-road line.

The dealership will adopt a mixed model, bringing together motorcycles and products from the powersports division. The choice of Caxias do Sul reinforces the brand’s bet on the potential of the interior of Rio Grande do Sul.

Address: Rua Guerino Sanvitto, 1370 – Room 04 – Sanvitto

Porto Alegre (RS)

In the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, the representation will be under the responsibility of the MotoHaus Group, a traditional company in the two-wheeled market and with more than three decades of experience.

As in Caxias do Sul, the operation will be mixed, integrating motorcycles and off-road vehicles in the same space. The chosen location seeks to facilitate logistical and commercial access in the capital.

Address: Dona Margarida, 1200 – Navegantes

Other stores

The brand has also stated that it is preparing for expansion, with new stores planned for Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Campinas (SP), Fortaleza (CE), Goiânia (GO), Recife (PE) and Salvador (BA). There are still no precise dates for the new units.

CFMoto motorcycles confirmed for Brazil

The line brings together four different proposals, ranging from custom motorcycles to adventurous models aimed at travel and mixed use.

CFMoto Ibex 450

CFMoto Ibex 450

The brand’s main bet at the beginning of operation, the Ibex 450 was presented to the Brazilian public during the Interlagos Festival 2025 and already appears as one of the most anticipated models of the Chinese manufacturer.

Known internationally as the 450MT, the motorcycle was named Ibex 450 in markets such as the United States, Canada and now in Brazil. The change also avoids conflict with the “MT” nomenclature, widely associated with Yamaha’s lineup.

The adventurer uses a 449 cm³ parallel twin-cylinder engine, capable of delivering 44 hp of power at 8,500 rpm and 4,4 kgfm of torque at 6,250 rpm. The set has a 270° crankshaft and two internal balancers, a solution that promises to reduce vibrations and deliver a smoother ride.

Among the highlights are KYB’s adjustable suspension, TFT panel with connectivity and a proposal focused on a balance between comfort, performance and versatility for travel and urban use.

CFMoto Ibex 700

CFMoto Ibex 700

The Ibex 700 will be the brand’s representative in the segment of medium trails aimed at long-distance travel. The model bets on a more robust package and a focus on autonomy.

The motorcycle features a fully adjustable 43 mm inverted front suspension, as well as rear suspension with preload adjustment. The spoked wheels are 19 inches at the front and 17 at the rear.

Another highlight is the 20-liter tank, which, according to the manufacturer, allows autonomy of more than 400 kilometers. The model will also feature a 5-inch TFT panel resistant to water and dust, as well as onboard connectivity.

The expectation is that the Ibex 700 will compete for space among intermediate models already consolidated in the Brazilian market, especially in the trail segment.

CFMoto CLC 450 Bobber

CFMoto CLC 450 Bobber

With a look inspired by traditional bobbers, the CLC 450 Bobber bets on minimalist lines, low ground seat and a more style-oriented proposal.

The model uses a 450.06 cm³ twin-cylinder engine, capable of delivering 44 hp at 9.000 rpm and 4.2 kgfm of torque at 6.250 rpm, combined with a six-speed gearbox.

Among the differentials are the final belt drive, inverted front suspension, rear monoshock, assist and slipper clutch, in addition to dual-channel ABS, traction control and connectivity via Bluetooth.

CFMoto CLC 450

CFMoto CLC 450

The CLC 450 will be the brand’s representative in the medium-displacement custom segment. The model bets on a classic look combined with a modern proposal of equipment and technology.

Although the full details of the standard version have not yet been released by the manufacturer for the Brazilian market, the motorcycle shares the same mechanical base as the Bobber version, using a 450 cm³ twin-cylinder engine and a focus on comfortable riding for urban use and travel.

The CLC 450’s proposal is to compete in an intermediate range of the market, targeting consumers looking for custom style without giving up electronic features and premium finish.
