The Volkswagen Amarok will get a new generation soon, but in the meantime, the current pickup is preparing an honorable farewell. This will be given through the new Volkswagen Amarok V6 Unlimited, the special series limited to 200 numbered units that arrives at dealerships in October, based on the Extreme version, top of the range.

The presentation to the public will be at the Jaguariúna Rodeo Festival, in the interior of São Paulo, on September 18, 19, 25 and 26. The event is the penultimate stage of the 2026 Sertanejo Circuit, sponsored by the brand, and the pickup will act as the official car of the edition.

The Amarok will be exhibited at three points of the festival and will have an appearance on stage during the Volkswagen moment. At the booth, the novelty will share space with the Polo Robust and Saveiro Robust in Trio Agro, which will also have activations and distribution of gifts.

What changes in the Unlimited

version Available exclusively in Moonstone Gray, the Amarok V6 Unlimited receives glossy black fender flares, an all-black front grille, black oval running boards, a matte black rear bumper and exclusive side stickers. The package also includes shock absorbers for the bucket lid, marine canopy and specific rubber mats. Inside, each example has an identification plate with the series number.

The edition may also receive the Vale+ Shielding. According to the manufacturer, the service is performed by approved partners, employs 3D modeled parts and materials aimed at reducing weight and preserves the factory warranty.

V6 turbodiesel maintained

Under the hood, nothing changes in relation to the Extreme: the Amarok V6 Unlimited uses the V6 3.0 turbodiesel engine with 258 hp and 59,1 kgfm, which reaches 272 hp with temporary overboost . The engine is associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission and 4Motion permanent all-wheel drive.

According to factory data, the pickup accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds, in performance that helped keep the V6 as the model’s main argument against Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and Chevrolet S10.

Volkswagen has not yet released the price of the special series. The Extreme, which serves as the base, appears for R$ 399.890 on the brand’s official website. In Argentina, where the Unlimited was first launched, production was limited to 500 units.

It is scheduled to hit stores in October, in simultaneous action throughout the dealership network. Meanwhile, Volkswagen is preparing the new generation of the Amarok, shown still camouflaged in August at the Festa do Peão de Barretos (SP) and expected for 2027. Interested parties can register on the official Amarok website to receive information about the model.
