São Paulo receives the only McLaren 750S Le Mans destined for Brazil

McLaren São Paulo received on Wednesday (16) the only example of the 750S Le Mans destined for the Brazilian market. It is not just any unit: the car carries the number 1 plate of the 50 produced for the whole world. Of the series, only two copies were reserved for all of Latin America.

Launched in June 2025, the edition celebrates the 30th anniversary of McLaren’s victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The triumph took place on June 18, 1995, when the F1 GTR number 59, driven by J.J. Lehto, Yannick Dalmas and Masanori Sekiya, won the French race in the British brand’s debut in the competition, with three other F1 GTRs in the top five.

The result completed the Triple Crown of motorsport, which also includes victories at the Monaco Formula 1 GP and the Indianapolis 500.

What changes compared to the conventional

750S The super sports car maintains the 4.0 twin-turbo V8 engine in a center-rear position, with 750 hp and 81,6 kgfm. The differences are in the aerodynamics and finish. The MSO High Downforce Kit, signed by the McLaren Special Operations customization division, brings together a carbon fiber front splitter , active and raised rear spoiler, enlarged wing and a redesigned lower panel in the same material.

According to the manufacturer, the package increases the aerodynamic load by 10% compared to the standard 750S, which improves stability in track use.

The Brazilian example was configured in the Le Mans Gray shade, one of the two colors offered for the series, with glossy black details and titanium exhaust tips.

Completing the set is the air intake integrated into the roof and the five-spoke LM wheels with central attachment, both direct references to the F1 LM, in addition to golden brake calipers.

In the cabin, the Alcantara Black Carbon coexists with leather and appliqués in McLaren Orange, the Le Mans inscription appears in relief on the headrests and carpets, and a plaque identifies the car’s position within the series.

Return to the track in 2027

McLaren did not disclose how much the national copy costs. For comparison, the 750S zero-kilometer coupe appears on the Fipe table for R$ 4,6 million, and limited editions are usually negotiated well above the value of the series model.

The arrival of the car comes as the automaker prepares to return to the main class of the World Endurance Championship. From 2027, the brand will compete in the Hypercar category with an LMDh prototype with a Dallara chassis and V6 biturbo engine, registered as McLaren United AS, in partnership with United Autosports, the team that already operates the 720S in the LMGT3 class.
