In addition to the renewed look and the increase in dimensions, the new ES debuts the sixth generation of Lexus’ hybrid technology and expands the list of comfort, connectivity and safety equipment.
Hybrid engine yields 247 hp
The mechanical set combines a 2.5-liter aspirated four-cylinder gasoline engine, which delivers 189 hp and 24,1 kgfm of torque, with an electric motor of 162 hp and 27,7 kgfm. The combined power reaches 247 hp, always associated with the Hybrid Transaxle transmission and front-wheel drive. According to Lexus, the sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds.

Consumption reaches 18,6 km/l
One of the main highlights of the new ES is energy efficiency. According to Inmetro data, the sedan averages 18.6 km/l in the city and 16.4 km/l on the highway, always fueled with gasoline.
The lithium-ion battery operates on 251.6 volts and was installed under the rear seat, a solution that helps reduce the center of gravity without compromising the trunk, which maintains 441 liters of capacity.
Sedan grew and became more technological
The new generation has become larger in practically all measures. Now, the ES is 5.14 meters long, 1.92 m wide, 1.55 m high and 2.95 m wheelbase, favoring the interior space.

Standard equipment includes:
- Skylight panoramic sunroof;
- Mark Levinson sound system with 17 speakers;
- Electric front seats with memory, heating and ventilation;
- Nanoe-X air purifier;
- e-Latch electronic locks;

The Lexus Safety System 4.0 package brings together features such as autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function, lane keeping and centering assistant, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, cross traffic alert and a camera system with a 360-degree panoramic view.
