Caoa Chery renews its seven-seater family utility vehicle with unprecedented technologies, seat with massage function and significant reduction in the table
Caoa Chery has started sales of the new line of Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV in the Brazilian market. The seven-seater SUV arrives in the 2027 line with a promotional launch price of R$ 229.990 – a value that makes it up to R$ 40 thousand cheaper than the previous table, in a clear strategy to gain competitiveness – also inaugurating the updated CCSH (Caoa Chery Super Hybrid) platform.
Under the hood, the plug-in hybrid set combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with direct injection with two electric powertrains and a dedicated DHT transmission. The system delivers 279 hp and 37.2 kgfm, autonomously managing the transitions between electric traction and combustion to optimize performance in the city and on the highway.

The highlight of the new generation is efficiency. The family utility vehicle registers equivalent consumption of up to 36.1 km/l in the city and can travel 70 kilometers with electricity alone. Supported by a fuel tank enlarged to 60 liters, the full range is designed to drastically reduce stops on long journeys.
The electric package gained crucial improvements, such as the adoption of fast charging in direct current (DC), replacing 30% to 80% of the battery in 20 minutes. The utility also introduces V2L technology, which transforms the car into a 220 V generator to power external equipment.
With a length of 4.73 meters and a wheelbase of 2.71 meters, the cabin focuses on high-end comfort. The front passenger seat now has a massage function and a “Zero Gravity” position, while the trunk reaches 1,930 liters of maximum volume with the seats folded down. The environment is complemented by dual zone air conditioning with N95 filter, panoramic sunroof and sound system signed by Sony with 12 speakers.
The digital panel consists of a 15.6″ multimedia center, a 10.25″ instrument panel and an enlarged head-up display . Safety has also been reinforced: in addition to the addition of nine airbags, the model features an updated Max Drive semi-autonomous package, with adaptive cruise control, cross-traffic braking and intelligent lane keeping alert.
