Produced in partnership with Swiss watchmaker Bianchet, the Ultra-Thin Flying Tourbillon uses materials from the MC20 super sports car and will have a limited run
Maserati has partnered with Swiss watchmaker Bianchet to launch a luxury timepiece celebrating the centenary of the Trident emblem. The UltraThin Maserati Flying Tourbillon will have production limited to 100 units and costs US$ 103 thousand (about R$ 518 thousand) – a value that exceeds the price of sports models such as the Toyota GR Supra and the Chevrolet Corvette.
The design of the watch translates the visual identity of the Italian automaker on a miniature scale. The skeletonized dial refers to the design of the wheels of the MC20, the brand’s top-of-the-line super sports car, while materials such as high-density carbon reference the model’s monocoque chassis. According to Maserati, every detail was designed so that the part would work as an extension of the brand’s automotive universe.

At the heart of the piece is the automatic caliber UT01, developed by Bianchet, which is only 3.85 mm thick — one of the thinnest in the segment. The movement withstands shocks of up to 5,000 G and has a grade 5 titanium tourbillon cage, a component that reinforces the watch’s technical and craftsmanship appeal.
With 36 grams without the strap, the accessory can be configured with a carbon fiber strap or rubber strap with a titanium clasp, in addition to sapphire crystal in the finish. To mark the launch, Maserati and Bianchet have also prepared exclusive driving experiences in Modena, Italy, where buyers will be able to drive the MC20 on track.
