Marcopolo Motorhome started, in Vitória (ES), NOMADE On The Road, the program that will travel through Brazil to present NOMADE, the first motorhome developed and produced by the new division of the manufacturer from Rio Grande do Sul. The model proposes to set a new standard in the country as it is an integral 4×4 vehicle designed from the factory – and not an adaptation over vans or trucks, as is the rule in the national market. After the Espírito Santo stage, the tour will continue to the South Region, in cities and dates yet to be defined. According to values released at the launch, prices start at around R$ 1.65 million and can exceed R$ 2.6 million, depending on the configuration.
The movement follows the growth of the Brazilian motorhome market, which, according to Sebrae data for 2025, is expected to advance between 6.3% and 11.2% per year in the coming years. The demand has been driven by families, young people and professionals adept at digital nomadism, who are looking for more autonomy to travel and work remotely. “More than a product demonstration action, NOMADE On The Road represents the beginning of Marcopolo Motorhome’s national presence”, says Alexandre Cruz, executive head of the division.

The first NOMADE units began to be delivered in May, and the expectation is to expand production throughout the year. In addition to being born as a compact integral motorhome — a category expanding in the United States and Europe — the model already collects recognition: it won the Brasil Design Award, one of the main awards in the sector, for the innovation and aesthetic language of the project.
Designed for off-road use, the vehicle combines 4×4 traction with reduced, Cummins F3.8 engine with 175 hp and 61,2 kgfm of torque and a six-speed Allison automatic transmission. The base is a specific chassis for motorhomes, with 9.2 tons of total gross weight, 17.5″ steel wheels and 235/75R mixed-use tires. Among the driving supports are 360° cameras with DVR, electronic mirrors by cameras and the Victron energy management system, with lithium batteries from 200 A to 800 A and flexible solar panels that generate up to 1,050 W.

With 7.50 m in length, 2.36 m in width, 3.18 m in total height and 1.95 m in internal height, NOMADE was designed to make good use of each space. The highlight is the slide-out, which expands the useful area to up to 16 m² with the vehicle parked. On board there is a bedroom with custom-made joinery and bed, bathroom with single-lever shower and separate toilet, living room with dinette that turns into a bed, 24V inverter air conditioning, panoramic roof and LED lighting with indirect light on the ceiling and baseboard.
The adventurous vocation appears in the details: front winch with a capacity of more than 9 tons, rear hitch with a maximum traction capacity of 11.8 tons, front snorkel, retractable ladder and Full LED optical set with fog lights. NOMADE also offers ample luggage space, including an enclosed compartment in the rear capable of carrying a small motorcycle or multiple bicycles, as well as an outdoor galley with a cooktop and sink and items for long trips, such as a diesel space heater and underfloor heating.
