The Brazilian market for low-run sports cars may gain a new member, aimed at those looking for performance and fun on circuits. It is the DuoExo Track, a sports car that weighs only about 800 kg and, according to the creators, is capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4.5 seconds and exceeding 225 km/h — competition car numbers extracted from a 2.0 turbo Ford engine of 250 hp. The official presentation will be at the Interlagos Festival, at the Interlagos Circuit, in São Paulo, between August 27 and 30, 2026.
The project follows the “LEV” (Lightweight Experience Vehicle) philosophy and bets on the classic recipe that delights enthusiasts: light weight and direct mechanics. To reach 800 kg, the DuoExo Track combines a tubular carbon steel chassis with a composite body, which results in a weight-power ratio of approximately 3.2 kg per horse — a level worthy of pure track sports cars. Behind the initiative is a well-known name in the national segment: Fabio Birolini, responsible for the brand’s packaging and engineering and founder of the extinct Lobini, manufacturer of the H1 sports car.
Installed transversely at the rear, behind the occupants, Ford’s four-cylinder EcoBoost delivers 250 hp at 5,500 rpm and 37,3 kgfm of torque at 3,000 rpm. The engine works with indirect injection managed by a FuelTech FT600 center and is coupled to the Ford MTX75 five-speed manual transmission, with rear-wheel drive — a classic layout for those who value total control over the car.

Engineering did not skimp on dynamic adjustment. The DuoExo Track features independent double-wishbone suspension on all four wheels, with coil-over shock absorbers adjustable in compression and rebound and adjustable anti-roll bars on both axles. At the front, it is possible to regulate camber, toe, and caster; at the rear, camber and convergence — features that allow the driver to adapt the car’s behavior to each track. The steering is mechanical, rack and pinion, which benefits from the lightness of the set to offer direct responses. Braking combines 278 mm ventilated discs at the front and 280 mm solid discs at the rear, with 17-inch aluminum wheels shod by 205/45 tires at the front and 225/45 at the rear.
A two-door, two-seater coupe, the DuoExo measures 3.97 m long, 1.83 m wide and only 1.16 m high, with a wheelbase of 2.45 m — low and compact proportions that reinforce the vocation of the track. The tank takes 50 liters and the permissible gross weight is 1,000 kg. The debut comes at a time of strengthening the culture of track days in the country, driven by the multiplication of events at racetracks and communities of enthusiasts. For Matheus Nolli, responsible for the vehicle’s dynamics, the Interlagos Festival marks the first contact of the project with the public linked to motorsport – a segment that, in Brazil, is currently occupied mainly by imports and limited series.
