Leapmotor will exhibit for the first time in Brazil the B05, a 218 hp rear-wheel drive electric medium hatchback , during the Interlagos Festival 2026, which takes place between August 27 and 30 at the José Carlos Pace Racetrack, in São Paulo (SP). The model has no confirmed sale in the country and, according to the brand, will be exhibited to present the global portfolio and measure the public’s reaction.
The electric set delivers 218 hp and 24,5 kgfm of torque, with a motor on the rear axle and balanced weight distribution between the axles. With the launch control function, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 6.7 seconds, and the range reaches 482 km by the WLTP cycle.

Two batteries and production in Spain
There are two battery options, both lithium iron phosphate (LFP): the 56.2 kWh, with 401 km of autonomy, and the 67.1 kWh, which yields 482 km. In direct current, recharging from 30% to 80% takes about 17 minutes. Unlike the models already sold in Brazil, the B05 is produced in Zaragoza, Spain — in China, where it debuted, the car is sold under the name Lafa 5.
The body is 4.43 m long, 1.88 m wide, 1.52 m high and 2.73 m wheelbase, measurements that place the model practically at the same length as a Fiat Fastback, but with the size of a hatchback. The trunk takes 430 liters. Inside, the brand highlights soft-touch coatings and premium fabrics.

In Europe, the B05 is sold in two configurations. The entry-level, Life Pro, starts at 26.285 euros — about R$ 157.900 at this Monday’s exchange rate (24) — and already features a 14.6-inch multimedia center and ADAS assistance package. The top of the line, with the largest battery, costs 30.285 euros, or approximately R$ 181.900, and adds a panoramic roof, suede finish, 19-inch wheels and high-fidelity sound. Values vary according to the market: in Italy, the car starts at 26,900 euros.
B10 Ultra-Hybrid is the next debut
The B05 shares a platform, motor and batteries with the B10, an electric SUV that Leapmotor already sells in Brazil for R$ 182,990. In addition to the hatchback, the brand’s box at the Interlagos Festival will have the first public exhibition of the B10 Ultra-Hybrid, with REEV technology, pointed out by the company as its next launch in the country. The current national range also includes the electric C10, for R$ 204,990, and the C10 Ultra-Hybrid, for R$ 219,990.
