Model developed in Italy marks a new phase of the brand and will be produced at the Melfi plant, one of Stellantis' main units
Lancia has just revealed the first information about the Gamma, one of the brand’s most important launches in recent years. Developed in Italy, the model will be produced at the Melfi plant, in the Basilicata region, a unit focused on Stellantis’ electrification plans.
The vehicle has already started the pre-production testing phase on roads, indicating that the project is close to its commercial debut, scheduled to take place after the European summer.

The SUV is based on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, developed for electrified vehicles in the medium and large segments. The dimensions place the model among the largest medium SUVs in the European market, with 4.67 meters long, 1.89 meters wide and 1.66 meters high.
According to Lancia, the Gamma is a celebration of the most important elements of the brand but with a more modern and technological touch. A fastback crossover silhouette was incorporated and the new proportions that seek to improve the vehicle’s aerodynamics and make it more stable.
The line will feature different electric versions, including hybrid and all-electric versions. The entry-level configuration will have 230 hp and a range of more than 540 kilometers. A 245 hp variant will be able to exceed 740 kilometers on a single charge. At the top of the range will be the version with all-wheel drive, power of 375 hp and estimated range of up to 675 kilometers.
More technical and commercial details are expected to be revealed in the coming months, possibly during the Paris Motor Show, while the opening of orders is expected to take place in 2026.
