Kia took advantage of the IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover (Germany) to present the new Kia PV7. The second model of the Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) electric line, the utility is larger than the PV5 and expands the South Korean brand’s bet on the disputed light commercial segment. The arrival in South Korea and Europe is scheduled for the second half of 2027.
Built on the E-GMP. S platform, the PV7 is offered in Cargo and Passenger bodies, with a flat floor and reduced entry height. The Long versions measure 5.35 m in length, 1.99 m in width and 1.99 m in height, with a wheelbase of 3.50 m.
Kia plans to unfold the family into 23 variants in the coming years, including chassis-cab and conversions made by partners.

Up to 1,200 kg of cargo or nine occupants
The cargo variant has two or three seats and offers 6.1 cubic meters of volume – a figure that rises to 8 cubic meters in the High Roof configuration. The maximum payload ranges from 1,165 kg in the Long version to 1,200 kg in the compact version. The floor at 55 cm from the ground accommodates up to three European pallets, and the tailgate can be chosen with two leaves or in a single tilting piece.
The passenger version takes up to nine occupants in the global market and up to 11 in South Korea. The seven-seat configuration uses rails that allow you to move or remove the seats, transforming the interior according to the operation.

Recharge from 10% to 80% in 25 minutes
The line uses 71.5 kWh and 96.2 kWh nickel-cobalt-manganese batteries. The front electric motor delivers up to 272 hp and 42.8 kgfm of torque, and the autonomy of the Long Range Cargo version exceeds 460 km in the WLTP cycle. A variant with all-wheel drive and two motors is planned for after launch.
The 800V electric architecture allows you to recharge from 10% to 80% in about 25 minutes on a 350 kW charger. The PV7 is the first Kia with two charging ports, one front for alternating and direct current and the other optional rear, only for alternating current. There is also a V2L function, to power external equipment.

On board, the utility debuts the Pleos Connect center, based on Android Automotive OS, with the Gleo voice assistant, artificial intelligence, in addition to a package of driving assistants.
In Brazil, Kia has not yet announced plans for the PV7. The PV5, the first in the PBV line and elected International Van of the Year 2026, has been confirmed for the domestic market, with arrival scheduled for the second half of this year in the cargo version.
