rivals With the discount, the hybrid now costs the same as the Caoa Changan Uni-T, of R$ 174.990, which is also the list price of the Jeep Compass Sport. The Jeep SUV, however, is on its own promotion: in a campaign valid until October 1st, it costs R$ 137.990 in cash, only in Carbon Black and without options.

The Niro is also below the list prices of the entry-level versions of the GWM Haval H6, the BYD Song Pro and the Toyota Corolla Cross, which cost, respectively, R$ 199.900, R$ 196.990 and R$ 194.090.

Urban consumption reaches 18,3 km/l

Under the hood, the SUV uses a 1.6-liter aspirated engine combined with an electric propulsion, with 141 hp and 27 kgfm of combined power and torque. The set has front-wheel drive and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

According to Kia, the Niro accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds. As it is a full hybrid, which does not require recharging at the outlet, the system is powered by a battery of only 1.6 kWh. The consumption measured by Inmetro is 18.3 km/l in the city and 15.9 km/l on the highway.
