Jeep Compass is cheaper than Volkswagen Tera in new promotion from the manufacturer

Jeep put the Compass Sport 2026 on sale for R$ 137.990 in cash, at a price that takes a medium SUV to the same range as the Volkswagen Tera, a subcompact that has become one of the best-selling cars in the country. The value represents a discount of R$ 37 thousand on the table of R$ 174.990 and is valid only for units without options in Carbon Black.

The offer is part of a national campaign that repositions the entry-level versions of the three SUVs produced by Jeep in the country — Renegade, Compass and Commander — and combines cash price rebates, bonuses on the evaluation of the used car given in the exchange and zero-rate financing. According to the manufacturer, the conditions are valid for orders placed until October 1 or while the stock of participating units lasts.

Compass Sport enters the VW Tera

price range With the new value, the Compass Sport is only R$ 4.800 above the Tera Comfort, of R$ 133.190 on the list, and R$ 8.200 below the top-of-the-line Tera High, of R$ 146.190. The proximity hides a considerable difference in size and mechanics: the Jeep measures 4.40 m in length and uses the 1.3 turbo flex T270 engine, with 176 hp and 27.5 kgfm, while the Volkswagen is 4.15 m and mounts the 1.0 170 TSI, with 116 hp and 16.8 kgfm with ethanol.

The condition requires the delivery of a used car in exchange and is linked to zero-rate financing in 24 months. The Sport version features six airbags, two-zone air conditioning, electric steering and Auto Hold function, but adopts a simplified interior finish to reduce the final cost.

In direct competition, the promotional price places the Compass below newcomer Chinese rivals, such as the Caoa Chery Tiggo 7 Sport and the Caoa Changan CS55, both advertised above R$ 140 thousand.

Commander has the biggest cut, of R$ 48.800

The most significant discount in absolute values was with the seven-seater Commander Longitude 2027, offered for R$ 179.990 in cash compared to R$ 228.790 on the list – a reduction of R$ 48.800. Also in this case, the condition is restricted to the black body and the absence of options.

Even though it is the gateway to the line, the Longitude preserves driving assistance items such as lane keeping assistant, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection and semi-autonomous parking, in addition to the 10.25″ digital instrument panel.

The Renegade Altitude 2026/2027 is still offered for R$ 124.990 in cash, a value already practiced in recent months. The entry-level version of the compact lists full-LED headlights, electronic parking brake and recalibrated traction control.

The most expensive configurations enter the campaign by another route. In the Renegade Sahara, the Compass Longitude and the Commander Blackhawk, Jeep claims to pay 100% of the Fipe table for the used car delivered in the exchange, also with interest-free financing.
