GAC Aion UT Premium joins Move Brasil for R$ 132.990 with facilitated credit

The GAC Aion UT, the Chinese brand’s first electric hatchback in Brazil, has entered Move Brasil, the federal credit program to renew the fleet of taxi drivers and app drivers. The inclusion was published this Wednesday (22) in the Official Gazette of the Union. With the qualification, the Premium version now has a public price of R$ 132.990 and is eligible for the program’s special financing conditions.

Aion UT: what the car delivers

Designed at GAC’s Milan studio, the Aion UT uses the AEP 3.0 platform, exclusive to electric vehicles. The engine is on the front axle and yields 204 hp and 21,4 kgfm, with front-wheel drive. The Premium version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds (the Elite, in 7.3 s) and reaches 160 km/h.

The GAC Aion UT Premium uses a 44.12 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, good for 253 km of autonomy by Inmetro; the Elite rises to 60 kWh and 310 km. The recharge accepts up to 6.6 kW in alternating current and 87 kW in direct current, going from 30% to 80% in about 24 minutes. There is also a V2L function, to power external devices, and a factory wallbox charger.

With 4.27 m in length and 2.75 m in wheelbase, the hatch promises the largest interior space in the category: GAC says three car seats can fit side by side in the back. The trunk takes 340 liters. As standard, it has six airbags, ABS and traction control, and the warranty is 8 years or 160 thousand km for the car and up to 200 thousand km for the battery.

What is Move Brasil

Launched in May 2026, Move Brasil, in the Taxi and Apps modality, is a R$ 30 billion credit line for taxi drivers and app drivers to finance zero-kilometer cars with interest rates below the market. The term reaches 72 months, with the possibility of a grace period, and women have even lower rates, around 11.5% per year, according to automakers that have already disclosed conditions.

For the app driver, it is necessary to have an active registration for at least 12 months on the same platform and prove at least 100 rides in the period. Taxi drivers need a license and active registrations, in addition to tax regularity with the Revenue. Each CPF finances only one vehicle, which must be new, cost up to R$ 150 thousand and meet the sustainability criteria of the Mover Program, which accept electric, hybrid or flex traction.

The interested party must check eligibility in gov.br/movebrasil, register the data and wait for the government’s response, which comes out within five business days. Once approved, just look for a GAC dealership to choose the car and go through the bank’s credit analysis, which is independent of approval in the program.
