Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido has samurai aesthetics and is exclusive to Japan

Lamborghini presented the new Revuelto Impavido, a special series of the super sports car designed exclusively for Japan and limited to just 25 numbered units. The model celebrates the brand’s 25 years in the Japanese market and is inspired by Bushido, the samurai’s code of honor, marked by courage, discipline and determination.

The name itself carries this spirit: “impamendo” means “fearless” and “brave” in Italian — a direct reference to the warrior mentality that guides the project, according to the manufacturer. Created within the Ad Personam customization program, the Lamborghini Impavido translates elements of samurai armor into the automaker’s visual language.

Sharp lines on the doors and rear bumper mimic the blow of a katana, while golden details scattered across the bodywork refer to odoshi, the silk cords that tied the armor plates.

The front is inspired by the maedate, the ornament attached to the samurai’s helmet as a symbol of status and protection. The details on the roof and fenders refer to the kozane, the lacquered plates that made up the armor.

Four versions, each with its own meaning

There are four configurations, all with samurai symbology. In the shiny versions are Verde Campus, inspired by Hisui jade, the national stone of Japan, and Grigio Artis Lucido, which refers to the katana. Among the mattes are Grigio Crater Matt, linked to gray and black armor, and Rosso Pyra, based on Sanada red, associated with bravery.

Inside, the car combines Nero Ade leather and Corsa Tex fabric with Bronzo Oreadi accents, exclusive embroidery, Samurai logo and a carbon fiber plate numbered “1 di 25”. The 21-inch and 22-inch Altanero forged wheels come in gloss black.

Underneath the customization is the Revuelto ever: the first Lamborghini with HPEV architecture — an acronym for high-performance electrified vehicle. In it, the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine works alongside three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, adding up to 1,015 hp.

The power-to-weight ratio is 1.75 kg/hp, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurs in 2.5 seconds and the top speed exceeds 350 km/h. Completing the package are the carbon fiber monocoque, active aerodynamics with three-position rear wing, CCB Plus carbon-ceramic brakes and all-wheel drive with electrified torque vectoring.

According to Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Lamborghini, Impavido shows how the Ad Personam program transforms the brand’s vision into a unique expression of identity and craftsmanship.
