Fiat started this Tuesday (18) sales of the 2027 Pulse line, which has as its main novelty the BlackMotion special series, offered for R$ 120.480. The compact SUV range now starts at R$ 104.990 and has shrunk from six to five versions: the T200 CVT and Impetus configurations, until then the top of the line, are not included in the table released by the manufacturer.
Developed on the Drive 1.3 AT, the Pulse BlackMotion bets on darkened details, such as a black roof, glossy black mirrors, 16″ alloy wheels, darkened logos and a dark-toned skid plate . The series also features a 10.1″ multimedia center, reversing camera, parking sensors and Keyless system. The mechanics are the same as the donor’s: aspirated 1.3 Firefly engine, with up to 107 hp and 13,2 kgfm, associated with a CVT automatic transmission with seven simulated gears.
“The BlackMotion special series was developed for customers who value design and personality,” said Frederico Battaglia, head of the Fiat and Abarth brands for South America, in a statement. According to Fiat, the Pulse has just reached 250 thousand units produced in Betim (MG) since 2021.

R$ 1,000 readjustment and hybrid only at Audace
All versions that remained in the range were R$ 1.000 more expensive compared to the table practiced so far. The BlackMotion, in turn, occupies the price range that was the T200 CVT, of R$ 119.990 — only that the retired version had the 1.0 turbo engine of up to 130 hp and 20,4 kgfm, while the special series stays with the aspirated.
The electrified supply also decreased. In the 2026 line, the Pulse had two versions with the 12-V mild-hybrid system: the Audace, for R$ 136.990, and the Impetus, for R$ 151.490. In the 2027 line, only the Audace T200 MHEV remained, now at R$ 137.990, which drops the ceiling of the range outside the sports car by R$ 13.500.
With this, a range of R$ 25.500 opens up to the Abarth, of R$ 163.490, the only one with the 1.3 turbo T270 engine with 185 hp and 27,5 kgfm, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7,6 seconds, according to the manufacturer.

Name has already run on four models

The BlackMotion label is not unprecedented in Brazil. Fiat used the name in special series of the Stilo, marketed between 2009 and 2010, the Punto, launched in 2013 with an E.torQ 1.8 engine and a starting price of R$ 49,900, in addition to Bravo and Linea, both in the middle of the last decade. In all cases, the recipe was the same: darken friezes, grilles and wheels of an already known model. The Pulse is the brand’s first SUV to receive the treatment.
