Fiat has put the 2027 Fastback line on sale with a novelty that, in practice, makes official what was already sold as an option: the Smart Drive version, from R$ 127.990, incorporates as standard the package of the same name that the brand offered separately in the Turbo 200 entry configuration until the 2026 line.

The set brings together six items that previously required additional disbursement: reversing camera, body-colored door handles, remote start, glossy black exterior mirrors, face-to-face key and induction cell phone charger. Everything else was already standard on the Turbo 200 — electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, rear parking sensor, LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, seats with a darkened finish and 8.4-inch multimedia center.

The account helps to explain the positioning. In the 2026 line, the Turbo 200 without options was advertised for R$ 119.990, and the same car equipped with the Smart Drive package reached R$ 126.990. Now, with the factory content, the version costs R$ 127.990 – R$ 1.000 above the previous combination and R$ 8.000 above the Turbo 200, which continues for the same value.

“The creation of the Smart Drive version is a direct response to the excellent acceptance that this package has had among customers. We identified a growing demand for driving assistance technologies and decided to transform this content into its own version within the Fastback range, making the offer even more accessible to the consumer”, says Frederico Battaglia, Head of the Fiat and Abarth brands for South America.

1.0 turbo engine loses power in the 2027 line

The 2027 line also brings a change that Fiat did not highlight in the statement. Recalibrated, the 1.0 turbo T200 engine now yields 116 hp with both gasoline and ethanol, compared to 125 hp and 130 hp, respectively, in the previous line. Torque remains at 20,4 kgfm at 2.000 rpm. According to the official technical sheet, the Smart Drive accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and reaches 189 km/h.

BlackMotion hits stores in September

Derived from Smart Drive, the BlackMotion special series costs R$ 129.980 and arrives at dealerships in September. The differences focus on the look: 17-inch alloy wheels in glossy black, two-tone roof, logo, front skid plate and air vent moldings with a darkened finish, in addition to the 10.1-inch multimedia center.

The rest of the 4.44 m coupe SUV range continues with the Audace versions, for R$ 168.490, and Impetus, for R$ 174.490, both with the 12-volt MHEV mild hybrid system, and with the Abarth, for R$ 184.490, now the only one equipped with the 1.3 turbo T270, with 185 hp and 27.5 kgfm. The old Limited, which also used this engine, left the catalog. Sales began on August 20.
