The arrest of digital influencer and lawyer Deolane Bezerra, target of Operation Vérnix, resulted in the seizure of an impressive luxury fleet. Coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of São Paulo and the Civil Police, the action investigates atypical financial transactions and alleged links between Deolane and the PCC. In all, the authorities collected 17 vehicles linked to the businesswoman. The estimate is R$ 8 million in vehicles, but this number may be higher, considering that models such as the Mercedes-AMG G63 can be even more expensive with the customization they are entitled to.

In addition, there are cars from the influencer that were imported independently. It is an expensive and time-consuming process, which makes the value of the vehicles even triple in relation to what was paid in the United States, for example. Even for this reason, it is worth it especially for models so luxurious that they would only arrive in Brazil under a special regime.

Cadillac Escalade 2025 (2)

This is the case of Deolane Bezerra’s Cadillac Escalade: the gigantic SUV that costs R$ 2.6 million is almost the size of a small truck and its best versions feature a 6.2 V8 engine of up to 690 hp and 90.4 kgfm. It was not sold at dealerships in the country, and it was necessary to import it independently, with the vehicle being brought to the Brazilian port in a container.

The Cadillac Escalade and direct import

Coincidentally, the Vérnix operation took place in the same week that Cadillac announced the debut of its first stores in Brazil. The curious thing is that the brand will not bring the Escalade here: the catalog will consist of three 100% electric vehicles.

According to information from AutoPapo, the exclusivity of the Escalade helps to explain this: to have it in the country, General Motors would need to make adjustments to the V8 engine, in order to follow Brazilian standards of pollution limits. The measures could involve making it less potent, for example.

In addition, it is an expensive process, which could not justify the investment given the amount of people who can buy it.

This does not mean, however, that Deolane Bezerra brought the car irregularly. In fact, agencies such as Ibama grant a small quota of units of these supercars that can be imported with more flexible rules.

SUVs and super sports cars in the sights of the authorities

In addition to the Cadillac, the Civil Police presented other high-end vehicles collected during the operation. The list of assets includes the iconic Mercedes-AMG G 63 — valued at up to R$ 2.4 million — a Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography and a Jeep Commander, possibly armored.

At the top of the collection’s financial pyramid, however, are even more restricted machines. A sumptuous Rolls-Royce Cullinan, valued at approximately R$ 5.5 million, and a Lamborghini Urus S in the striking purple color, priced at around R$ 4.2 million, stand out. Completing the list of very high-performance seizures are a British super sports car McLaren 720S, with 720 hp, and a German sports car Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet.
