Model launched not long ago has the most thoughtful of Indian customs geometries, in addition to the most beautiful aesthetics
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is the latest motorcycle from the Indian manufacturer in the Brazilian market. Launched in April, at Itaipava Castle, located in Petrópolis (RJ), it lavished its beauty, obviously classic, and surprised in the chassis, even having the same motor base as some sisters. After a brief test with the model, the perception was clear: it makes the perfect balance between the brand’s customs 650.

Even though it has the same engine base that all the brand’s other 650s have, the Classic differs from the Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun. The “great Meteor” has the most cruiser position of all, with an advanced pedal and slightly higher handlebars. The Shotgun, on the other hand, is a bobber and has a very advanced riding position, with low handlebars and pedals with conventional recoil.
Driving the Royal Enfield Classic 650, it is clear that the model unites these proposals. Conventional recoil pedal and handlebars pulled to the standard, which configures a more common and comfortable riding position for all tastes. Nothing too custom, nor too sporty.

These characteristics make the model, with a 648 cm³ engine, 47 hp of power and 5,3 kgfm of torque, very malleable and easy to drive in urban traffic. The fact is that its 243 kg make it a bit complicated in static maneuvers, but just pick up speed and everything becomes easier.
Comfort in the seats, suspensions and handlebar controls can be considered the Royal Enfield standard. The seat accommodates well, especially with the comfort seat (which then becomes positively differentiated), the suspensions fulfill their role without bonus or burden and the levers are still large and harder than average.

In general, the short journey with the model managed to exemplify well the proposal that the brand seeks: an affordable intermediate — since it starts at R$ 34.490 — with honest features and an aesthetic to swallow any competitor. Circulating on highways and even in conventional traffic is an easy task for her.
