Caoa Chery Tiggo 5x starts at R$ 103.180 after having its manufacture stabilized in Goiás

Caoa Chery announced the expansion, as of this Wednesday (1st), of the offer of Caoa Chery Tiggo 5X for People with Disabilities (PwD) and taxi drivers. With the change, the compact SUV is now part of the list of brand models eligible for tax benefit programs, alongside the Tiggo 7 family.

For taxi drivers, who add IPI and ICMS exemption, the Tiggo 5X Sport starts at R$ 103,180.15 — the lowest price of the new condition. In the package for PwDs, with exemption only from IPI, the same version starts at R$ 118,418.95. The automaker credits the expansion to the stabilization of production at its plant in Anápolis, in Goiás, which opens space to serve heavy segments in the country’s sales volume.

The values start from the input configuration and do not include any paint additions. Caoa Chery maintains the policy of selling only cars with a closed equipment package, without options.

Compact SUV with turbo mechanics

The Tiggo 5X is still equipped with the 1.5 turbo flex engine, which yields 147 hp with gasoline and 150 hp with ethanol, always associated with the simulated nine-speed CVT transmission. Among its strengths that the brand usually explores in the segment are the independent rear suspension of the multilink type, the package of standard items and the five-year warranty with no mileage limit.

With the inclusion of the model in the special conditions, Caoa Chery reinforces its bet on two niches that historically account for a relevant portion of vehicle registrations in Brazil, especially in entry-level SUVs. The vehicles are already available for consultation and ordering throughout the brand’s dealership network.
