Bosch will promote, on July 9, a free course in basic mechanics aimed exclusively at women. The training takes place at the company’s Automotive Training Center (CTA), in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, and aims to expand the participants’ knowledge about vehicle maintenance and traffic safety.
Lasting four hours, the training combines theoretical and practical activities. The proposal is to help students better understand how the car works, to recognize signs that some component needs attention and to gain more autonomy in their daily lives behind the wheel.

What will be taught in the course
In the theoretical part, the content includes the engine, gearbox and the interpretation of dashboard alerts. Guidance is also provided on the braking system, shock absorbers, steering and tire balancing — items that usually generate doubt among those who do not live with the routine of a workshop.
The practical stage focuses on the tires: participants will learn how to calibrate and change the component correctly, in addition to identifying signs of wear. The course also offers demonstrations in a cut-out engine and in the vehicle’s safe, which brings the theory closer to the reality of those who lift the hood for the first time.
The program closes with recommendations on safety items and driving tips for everyday and emergency situations, such as what to do in the face of a flat tire, how to adjust the height of the headlights and good driving practices.
How to Apply
The class will be unique, with 24 vacancies, and all participants receive a certificate of completion at the end. Registration is free and can be made through this form, remaining open until the vacancies are fully filled.
