Caoa Chery cuts the price of the Tiggo 5X 2027 and ends the waiting list

Caoa Chery reduced the prices of the Tiggo 5X 2027 by up to R$ 5,000 after the SUV reached the mark of 100 thousand units produced and sold in Brazil. The new values, however, are part of a commemorative campaign and are only valid during August, according to the automaker.

The entry-level Sport version went from R$ 126.990 to R$ 124.990, a difference of R$ 2.000. The Pro fell from R$ 144.990 to R$ 139.990, the most significant discount of the stock. Both configurations maintain the seven-year or 150 thousand kilometer warranty offered by the brand.

The manufacturer also confirmed that both versions are available for immediate delivery throughout the dealership network. According to Caoa Chery, the greater availability is due to the increase in the pace of production at the plant in Anápolis (GO), which expanded capacity to meet demand and eliminated waiting lines.

What has changed in the 2027 line

Launched in February, the 2027 line aligned the look of the 5X with that of the bigger brothers Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8. The SUV received new bumpers, full LED headlights with vertical daytime running lights and taillights interconnected by a light bar. Inside, the main highlight is the integrated 20.5″ Full HD dashboard, which brings together the instrument panel and multimedia center in a single piece, with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.

From Sport, the SUV features six airbags, a reversing camera, parking sensors, a face-to-face key and electric adjustment for the driver’s seat. The Pro adds a seventh airbag, the central front one, in addition to a panoramic sunroof, 360° cameras, two-zone digital air conditioning, 50 W induction charger, 18-inch wheels and the Max Drive 2.0 driving assistance package, with adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and blind spot monitoring.

Mechanics remain the same

Under the hood, the Tiggo 5X maintains the 1.5 turbo flex engine with 150 hp with ethanol and 147 hp with gasoline, in addition to 22,8 kgfm of torque, associated with the CVT transmission with nine simulated gears. Caoa Chery informs that the set received a new calibration to improve performance and drivability. The suspension is independent on all four wheels, with McPherson at the front and multilink at the rear.

The repositioning comes in a disputed segment, in which the SUV faces Volkswagen T-Cross and Hyundai Creta. It is worth noting, however, that the promotional price of Sport is still higher than the R$ 119.990 practiced in the launch action of the 2027 line, in February. In July, the brand had also expanded the offer of the model in direct sales, with exemptions that drop the value to R$ 103,180 in the case of taxi drivers.
