ANP’s new app gives gas stations a score of 0 to 5 and shows where there is reliable fuel near you
Free tool assigns a score from 0 to 5 to the nearest stations, reveals the origin of the fuel and opens a direct channel for reporting to the ANP.

The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) launched on Monday (13) the application “ANP com VC – Postos”, a free tool that gathers information about authorized gas stations in the country, displays the quality history of each establishment and allows consumers to register complaints of irregularities – including abusive prices – directly to the agency.
What is the use?
Through the application, the user locates nearby stations through the device’s GPS or searches by city or CNPJ. The establishments appear on a list or map, with access to a detailed page about each unit.
Among the available data are the history of inspection actions carried out by the ANP in the last five years — with the results of inspections on the quality of fuels and the quantity effectively supplied by the pumps — in addition to the analyzes of the Fuel Quality Monitoring Program (PMQC). The platform also informs the products sold, the CNPJ, the address, the authorization status with the agency and the origin of the fuel sold.
This last item is one of the tool’s trump cards. According to the ANP, even stations that display a distributor’s brand can sell products from another supplier — from an ethanol plant, from a carrier-reseller-retailer (TRR) or from another distributor — a practice allowed as long as it is clearly informed to the consumer. The app allows you to check who actually fills each station before filling the tank.

Each establishment receives a quality score from zero to five, calculated based on the history of inspections and the results of the PMQC. The methodology assigns greater weight to the most recent infractions, according to the agency. On the map, the classification appears in colors ranging from red (score zero) to green (maximum score, five), which allows a quick reading of the reputation of each station.
The tool also opens two direct reporting channels to the ANP: a specific one to report suspicions of abusive prices and another for other irregularities found at the stations. The information sent may support future inspection actions by the agency.
The platform arrives in the midst of an offensive by the federal government against fraud in the sector. On Tuesday (14), the National Council for Energy Policy (CNPE) approved a resolution that expands the ANP’s instruments in the fight against fuel adulteration, with a focus on traceability and integration between inspection agencies, reported Poder360.
The “ANP with VC – Posts” can be installed on cell phones and computers after accessing the agency’s official platform. The system converts monitoring data previously restricted to the ANP and distributors into an interface for the common consumer.
