Mitsubishi launched the 2027 Triton line with specific changes. The main one is the inclusion of the Tarmac version as a fixed model, it was presented in 2025 as a limited edition.

The Mitsubishi Triton Tarmac is a more equipped 4×2 version made as a response to the Ford Ranger Black. Its proposal is to be an option for those who want to have a medium pickup, but use it more on asphalt and do not need 4×4 traction.

The Tarmac model now uses new 20-inch wheels, which debuted in the 2027 line for this version and for the top-of-the-line Katana. In the 2026 model, the wheels of the Pajero Sport were used in the special edition, while the top model used 18-inch wheels.

At the end of 2025, the Savana model was also launched. With the new addition, Triton now has eight different models in the range, including work-focused versions. See the price list:

Apart from the new version and the 20-inch wheels, the Mitsubishi Triton did not receive any other significant changes. It continues to use only the 2.4 biturbo diesel engine, with 204 hp and 47,9 kgfm.

The GL MT version is the only one with a manual transmission, while the Tarmac is the only 4×2. This version without 4×4 traction is also the most economical diesel pickup in Brazil within the Inmetro methodology, with an average of 10.2 km/l in the city and 12.3 km/l on the highway.
