7-seater diesel configuration brings 4x4 traction, 184 hp engine and 14.6-inch central engine after model leads sales in the segment
GWM Brazil announced the expansion of the Haval H9 line with the arrival of the new “Selection” version. The unprecedented configuration of the diesel SUV with capacity for seven seats debuts in the domestic market costing R$ 339 thousand.
The main changes compared to the other variant (which is still priced at R$ 335 thousand) focus on the exclusive aesthetic package, which includes new 19-inch alloy wheels, interior finish in Clay Brown, exclusive exterior paint in Zenith Gray and glossy black details installed on the front grille and headlight frames.

On the mechanical side, the Haval H9 Selection maintains the technical specifications already known from the line. The SUV is equipped with a 2.4 turbodiesel engine that delivers 184 hp of power and torque of 480 Nm (48.9 kgfm). The set is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The model also has a 4×4 all-wheel drive system with reduced for off-road terrain.

The launch of the new option comes after the Haval H9 registered 1,220 registrations in May, a volume that positioned it at the top of the large SUV segment (SUV E). The vehicle sold in Brazil seven months ago had already reached first place in sales in the category in March and has a 10-year factory warranty offered by the automaker.
