How the new free training course works
Previously, the process had a workload of 116 class hours with a limit of 10 class hours per day, but the training course was updated and now has a shorter duration. The training is free, offered by the Federal Government and accessed through the CNH do Brasil application or the Ministry of Transport website via login gov.br.
The course is organized in three modules, totaling 27 classes:
- Fundamentals of Education: addresses pedagogical principles for adult education and values such as kindness and tolerance.
- Applied Didactics: presents methods, strategies and planning to teach theoretical and practical classes.
- Traffic Safety and Behavior: deals with technical and behavioral topics, such as applied physics, preventive maintenance, road signs, and first aid.
At the end of the journey, the student takes an online assessment with 30 questions and no time limit. Approval generates the immediate issuance of the “Traffic Instructor” certificate. The effective exercise of the activity, however, remains subject to registration with the DMV.
