Argentina, champion in the last World Cup, is part of Group J. It plays against Algeria, Austria and Jordan during the first phase of the event. Two of these countries have locally produced cars as the best sellers.

The Hilux sold in Jordan uses the same 2.8 turbodiesel that is used in Brazil only in the top versions. The simplest work-oriented models use a 2.4 turbodiesel with 150 hp and 41 kgfm.
