With the discount on the exchange for used cars, a restyled medium SUV now costs R$ 189.990 and is cheaper than top versions of the Nivus and T-Cross
Volkswagen has started an aggressive sales campaign for the 2026 Taos, which positions the midsize SUV below the price of the brand’s own compact models. That’s because, with a bonus of R$ 10 thousand in the exchange of a used car, valid until the end of May, the Comfortline version has its value reduced from R$ 199.990 to R$ 189.990. The amount is lower than the R$ 195.990 asked for the Nivus GTS and the R$ 193.990 for the T-Cross Highline.
The model, which has recently undergone restyling to align with the manufacturer’s global identity, received visual updates focused on the optical assemblies and bumpers. At the front, the headlights have been redesigned and now have an LED fillet at the top of the grille, next to the hood. At the rear, the taillights are now connected by a light strip, while the alloy wheels have gained new exclusive designs.
