Renault presented the Rafale Hypnotic, a series limited to 1,500 numbered units that takes over the top of the coupe SUV range and becomes, according to the automaker, the most expensive model ever offered by the brand in Europe. In France, the price is R$ 375,7 thousand (€ 63,550), about R$ 19,5 thousand above the Atelier Alpine version, which serves as the basis for the special edition.

For comparison, the value exceeds by approximately R$ 86 thousand that of the Koleos E-Tech, Renault’s current top of the line in Brazil, sold for R$ 289.990. The Rafale is not sold in the Brazilian market.

Satin paint and Alcantara with tricolor stitching

What separates the Hypnotic from the other versions is almost all on the surface. The bodywork receives the exclusive Forest Black paint in a satin finish, combined with a black front grille, roof and rear spoiler trim in gloss black and darkened Atelier Alpine emblem. The 21″ alloy wheels also gain a satin finish, while the darkened headlights are inherited from the version that serves as the base.

Inside, the SUV combines Alcantara and textured fabric, with blue, white and red stitching, in reference to the French flag. The dashboard is also covered in Alcantara, while the seatbacks feature illuminated Alpine badges. Each unit receives a numbered plate on the center console.

As a top-of-the-line version, the Rafale Hypnotic comes standard with items charged separately in the rest of the range. The list includes Matrix Vision LED headlights, adjustable opacity Solarbay panoramic roof, Harman Kardon sound system, head-up display, automatic parking, 360º camera, heated windshield, courtesy lights on the doors, heated front seats with driver massage function and 32 A charging cable.

1.2 turbo engine plus three electric

motors The mechanics are the same as the Rafale E-Tech 4×4, with no changes. The 1.2 turbo three-cylinder engine, with 150 hp and 23,5 kgfm, works alongside three electric motors, one of them installed on the rear axle to ensure all-wheel drive. The combined power reaches 300 hp, according to Renault, and the 22 kWh battery allows you to run up to 105 km only in electric mode in the European WLTP cycle.

The chassis package also comes from Atelier Alpine: calibration signed by Alpine, 4Control Advanced all-wheel steering and active suspension that uses a camera on the windshield to anticipate irregularities in the floor.

Orders begin on October 1 in 14 European markets, including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Poland, with the first deliveries scheduled for the end of 2026. The public debut takes place at the Paris Motor Show, held between October 12 and 18 at the Porte de Versailles pavilion. In Europe, the price positions the Rafale above the entry-level versions of rivals such as Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé and Audi Q5 Sportback.
