New generation of the German sports car uses electric turbochargers to eliminate acceleration delay; prices start at R$ 2.1 million.
Porsche has started sales in Brazil of the new generation of the 911 Turbo S, identified by the code 992.2. The model marks the debut of T-Hybrid technology at the top of the German sports car range, combining the traditional boxer engine with a high-performance electrical system. With pre-sales open since the end of 2025, the vehicle lands in the domestic market with prices of R$ 2,100,000 for the Coupé version and R$ 2,150,000 for the Cabriolet variant.
The mechanical assembly of the new Turbo S combines a 3.6-liter biturbo boxer engine with two electric turbochargers and an electric unit integrated into the eight-speed PDK transmission. The system delivers 711 hp and 81,6 kgfm. In practice, electrification allowed the Coupé to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 8.4 seconds, with a top speed of 322 km/h.

Although the hybrid system added 85 kg to the vehicle’s overall weight, dynamic performance was improved. At the Nürburgring, the new Turbo S recorded a time 14 seconds lower than its predecessor. The gain is attributed, in part, to the ehPDCC (electro-hydraulic chassis control) system, which acts to reduce body roll in severe maneuvers.

Aerodynamics have been revised with active flaps and a rear wing that reduces drag by 10%. For braking control, the brand equipped the model with 420 mm ceramic discs and 10-piston calipers at the front. Aesthetically, the model introduces the “Turbonite” finish, an exclusive gray tone applied to logos and wheels, while the cabin receives a Burmester sound system and a microfiber roof.
