Do you know what an ultra-hybrid is? This is how Leapmotor, a Chinese partner of our Stellantis, calls its hybrid system that has a combustion engine that does not move the car.

But how so? To exemplify this operation, the brand has the C10 SUV, which has a 215 hp electric motor to drive the car. It is considered an ultra-hybrid, as its battery can be recharged at the outlet, like any plug-in, but also by a 1.5 gasoline engine of 88 hp, just to generate charge.
So, it is the only hybrid that can be plug-in, that is, plugged in, but it can also have its battery also recharged by the combustion engine.
