The Peugeot 208 and 2008 arrived in the 2027 line with news: now, the top-of-the-range versions adopt the GT MHEV signature, each configuration gains an exclusive wheel design and the catalog receives a new color. Prices range from R$ 93.990, in the 208 Style 1.0 MT, to R$ 162.990, in the 2008 GT MHEV Turbo 200 AT.
After debuting the mild hybrid system in the top configurations — the first in the compact hatchback segment in Brazil — the brand took the technology to the name of the version, previously identified as Hybrid GT.
The new color, Okénite White, joins Obsession Blue, Artense Gray, Selenium Gray and Perla Nera Black. Artense Gray, however, is not offered in the MHEV GTs, restricted to four options.
Exclusive wheels in each version
On the 208, which is 4.05 m long, the range is made up of Style 1.0 MT, Allure Turbo 200 AT and GT MHEV Turbo 200 AT. The entry features 16″ Dark Style wheels, Allure uses Noma diamonds, also 16″, and the top of the range receives 17″ two-tone wheels, with “Y” shaped spokes.

The 2008 is offered in Active, Allure and GT MHEV versions, all Turbo 200 AT. The entry-level uses 16″ Silom wheels; the Allure, the 17″ Karakoy diamonds; and the GT MHEV, the 18″ Evissa Black Mist, with a double star design.
12 V mild hybrid and engine without changes
In the two GT MHEV, the 1.0 turbo flex engine with up to 130 hp and 20,4 kgfm — maximum force from 1,750 rpm — works alongside an auxiliary electric motor and a 12 V lithium-ion battery, with CVT automatic transmission.
The Advanced Start & Stop, e-Braking and e-Coasting systems recover energy when braking and decelerating and, according to the manufacturer, soften resumptions and reduce consumption and emissions. In the 208 Style, the aspirated 1.0 flex of up to 75 hp continues with a five-speed manual transmission.
The GT MHEV features the Peugeot Driver Assist package, with automatic emergency braking, collision warning, lane keeping correction and speed sign recognition, as well as Full LED headlights and 10″ MHEV 3D cluster. The 208 adds the 180º Visiopark; the 2008 features a 360º camera, bitom roof and paddle shifts.

In the 208, prices are R$ 93.990 in the Style 1.0 MT, R$ 119.990 in Allure and R$ 132.990 in GT MHEV. In 2008, R$ 134.990 in Active, R$ 149.990 in Allure and R$ 162.990 in GT MHEV, always for direct billing to individuals, in Perla Nera Black.
Compared to the launch prices of the 2026 line, under the same conditions, the range became more expensive: an increase of R$ 2.000 in the 208 Style and Allure, R$ 6.000 in the 208 GT and 2008 Allure and R$ 1.000 in the 2008 Active. Only the top 2008 repeats the R$ 162.990.
