With only 20 units destined for Brazil, the special series rescues the brand's triumph in the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally
Mini launched the 1965 Victory Edition in Brazil, a special series limited to just 20 units that honors the historic victory of the Mini Cooper S in the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. Based on the MINI John Cooper Works Hatch, the edition combines classic motorsport elements with the brand’s sporty proposition.
Under the hood, the model is equipped with a 2.0 TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine, which delivers 231 hp and 39 kgfm of torque, associated with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The set allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

Visually, the 1965 Victory Edition stands out for its bodywork painted in Chili Red, combined with a white stripe that runs along the hood, roof and rear. The model also displays the number 52 on the sides, in reference to the winning car of the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally, in addition to the “1965” emblem applied to the C-pillar.
Inside the cabin, the door sills bear the inscription “1965”, while each unit has a commemorative plaque that recalls the achievement that inspired the series. The finish follows the sporty identity of the John Cooper Works line, with a predominance of black and red colors.
The inscription “1965” appears again on the sports steering wheel and in the central compartment, in addition to the personalized key with the number used by the race-winning Mini Cooper S.
The Mini 1965 Victory Edition is already on pre-sale at the brand’s dealerships in Brazil, with the arrival of the first units scheduled for June. The launch price is R$ 384.990.
