Mercedes-Benz V-Class is a luxury minivan that debuts in Brazil for R$ 729.900

Mercedes-Benz has opened the pre-sale of the V-Class in Brazil with a suggested public price starting at R$ 729,900. The luxury minivan arrives in two versions, V 300 Avantgarde and V 300 Elegance, both with capacity for seven occupants, and is the brand’s first product in this segment in the Brazilian market.

Orders can now be placed at dealerships across the country. The model marks the automaker’s entry into a segment in which it did not operate in the Brazilian market: luxury minivans, a niche that today has practically no direct competitor among premium brands in the country.

According to Fabio F. Silva, head of Automobile Sales at Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans Brazil, the opening of the pre-sale allows customers to have early access to the model, which the company presents as a reference of comfort and exclusivity in the segment.

What Mercedes-Benz reported — and what was left out

Among the equipment mentioned by the brand are the MBUX multimedia system, the widescreen cockpit , a package of driving assistance and safety features and different seat configurations, which allow you to change the cabin arrangement according to the number of passengers and the volume of luggage.

The automaker, however, did not disclose the engine, performance, dimensions or list of standard items for each version — information that is usually detailed only at the commercial launch. It also did not inform the individual price of the V 300 Elegance: the R$ 729.900 is worth as the starting point of the line.

In Europe, the acronym V 300 d identifies the most powerful configuration of the V-Class, with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine and 237 hp, nine-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The Brazilian nomenclature dispenses with the “d” used by the brand to signal the diesel, which leaves open which mechanical assembly was approved in the country.

Reinforcement in the year of the brand’s

biggest offensive The V-Class is imported and its arrival is part of the package of launches that Mercedes-Benz has scheduled for 2026 in Brazil, the most extensive ever announced by the company in the domestic market, with 18 models planned for the year.

The current line is in its final years of cycle. In March 2026, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the VLE, an electric minivan built on the VAN platform. EA and anticipated by the Vision V concept, presented in April 2025. The VLE replaces the EQV in the brand’s global range and signals the electric path of the segment, still without a sale forecast in Brazil.
