With a 2.0-liter turbo engine and two electric powertrains, the G700 challenges the Land Rover Defender by combining extreme luxury and 5.20-meter flotation
Jetour has confirmed the debut of the G700 in Brazil for September 2026. The SUV arrives in the country with a high-performance plug-in hybrid set, directly targeting the premium segment of SUVs with off-road capability, such as the Land Rover Defender 130 and the BYD Denza B5.

Despite weighing 3.1 tons, the Jetour G700 delivers impressive numbers thanks to electrification. The system combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with two electric motors, generating a combined power of 904 hp and torque of 115 kgfm. The range is also a strong point, the 34.1 kWh battery guarantees up to 150 km in purely electric mode. With a full tank, the total range reaches 1,200 km. Highlight for the two-speed DHT gearbox and the 100% electric rear-wheel drive, which does not require the use of a cardan shaft.

Built on the GAIA platform, the G700 measures 5.20 meters in length and focuses on ruggedness for off-road. In addition to the air suspension, the model brings a curious differential with the fully sealed floor that allows the vehicle to float on the water for up to 40 minutes.

Inside, the experience is immersive for six occupants. The dashboard is dominated by a 35.4-inch LCD display that spans the entire console, complemented by a 15.6-inch multimedia center and additional screens for rear passengers. Safety is provided by the Level 2+ autonomous driving system, equipped with a LiDAR sensor and 29 cameras and radars.

Jetour plans an aggressive expansion, jumping from 14 to more than 100 stores by the end of 2026. In addition to importing via the Port of Vitória (ES), the brand confirmed the creation of an R&D center to adapt its hybrid engines to flex technology (ethanol). National production is also on the radar, possibly in partnership with the CAOA group or in conjunction with the Omoda and Jaecoo brands. The estimated price for the launch is R$ 500.000.
