Jeep Compass cheaper than Fiat Pulse: understand Stellantis’ new strategy, already in place
With R$ 27 thousand in rebate, Jeep's medium SUV now costs less than a top-of-the-line Fiat Pulse. And the value drops even more for PWDs

Jeep has put the Compass Sport, the entry-level version of the medium SUV, on sale, with a R$ 27 thousand discount. With the bonus, the price of the Compass drops from R$ 174.990 to R$ 147.990 – a level below well-equipped compact SUVs, such as the Fiat Pulse Impetus.
The condition is valid until August 4 or while the stock of 100 units lasts, whichever happens first. There is also relevant fine print:
- the discount is only valid for the 2026/2026 model year, in solid Carbon Black paint;
- the unit has to be without options — other colors and accessories come with an addition;
- the brand’s campaign also includes 100% of the Fipe table in the evaluation of used and zero rate in selected versions.
What the Compass Sport delivers as standard

Under the hood is the 1.3 turbo flex T270, the same one that equips the Longitude and S Series versions.
- Power: 176 hp
- Torque: 27.5 kgfm
- Transmission: six-speed automatic
- Drive: Front (4×2)
Even though it is the cheapest configuration, the list of standard items is not short. On the outside, the SUV features full LED headlights and taillights with light signature and automatic headlight lighting, rain sensor, 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/55 tires, black roof rack and emergency use spare tire.

Inside, the version includes:
- 8.4″ multimedia center with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay;
- instrument panel with 7″ color TFT screen;
- two-zone digital automatic air conditioning;
- fabric seats, with height adjustment for the driver, and 60/40 split rear seat;
- face-to-face key, electric steering, Start/Stop and electronic parking brake.
In safety, there are six airbags (front, side and curtain), traction and stability controls. The driving assistant package (ADAS), reserved for higher versions, is left out.
PwDs and CNPJs pay even less
Those who buy by direct sale find different numbers. Under the July conditions released by Jeep, the Compass Sport costs R$ 139.690 for people with disabilities, combining IPI exemption and brand bonuses, and R$ 147.866 for CNPJ. The Sport, by the way, remains the only configuration of the Compass enabled in the PCD modality.
The Compass is not alone in the offensive: the same campaign lists the Renegade Altitude for R$ 124.990 and the seven-seater Commander Longitude for R$ 188.990. It is worth confirming the final price and availability of the color at the dealership before closing: the promotional stock is small and the distribution of the units varies according to the chain.
