Jeep has started sales of the special series 85 Years, the commemorative line that debuts with new versions of the Avenger at R$ 142.990 and the Renegade at R$ 167.690. The two SUVs are already being distributed to the brand’s dealerships across the country, according to the manufacturer, in limited production — the automaker did not say how many units will be manufactured.
The values position the commemorative editions above the Longitude version, which serves as the basis for both. The Avenger Longitude is sold for R$ 135.990 and the Renegade Longitude MHEV, for R$ 158.690. In the case of the Avenger, the special series is R$ 3.000 below the top-of-the-line Limited, of R$ 145.990.
Avenger 85 Years brings Matrix headlight and ChatGPT
The commemorative configuration of the Avenger maintains the 1.0 turbo flex T200 engine, with 116 hp and 20,4 kgfm, associated with Stellantis’ 12V mild-hybrid system (MHEV) and CVT automatic transmission. On the outside, the model features a black two-tone roof, 18″ alloy wheels in opaque black, grille with seven illuminated slits and emblems alluding to the edition.
Inside, the seams and other details receive the Mayan Gold tone.
The equipment list includes Matrix headlights, 360° camera, adaptive cruise control, front parking sensor and the 10″ multimedia center with the Jeep Adventure Intelligence package, which embeds the ChatGPT voice assistant.
Renegade departs from the Longitude and gets a sunroof
Derived from the Longitude, the Renegade 85 Years continues with the 1.3 turbo flex T270 engine, with 176 hp and 27,5 kgfm, and with the 48V mild hybrid system, which contributes about 16 hp and 6,6 kgfm without driving the vehicle. The transmission is a six-speed automatic.
The edition adds a panoramic sunroof, black two-tone roof, blind spot detector, automatic headlight switching, electrochromic rearview mirror, rain sensor and paddle shifters. The interior features darkened finishes, a black steering wheel and gear knob and Mayan Gold stitching on the seats, dashboard and door trims.
Six airbags and semi-autonomous driving assistants (ADAS), such as automatic emergency braking and lane change alert, remain standard.
The manufacturer informed that the 85 Years versions of the Compass and Commander will have prices and equipment lists released soon.
