Jetour delivered a Jetour T1 to Cape Verdean goalkeeper Vozinha during the player’s presentation at Colo-Colo, in Santiago, Chile. Official sponsor of the Chilean club since 2024, the Chinese automaker took advantage of the event to exhibit a plug-in hybrid SUV that is also sold in Brazil, for prices starting at R$ 249.900.
A revelation of the Cape Verde national team at the 2026 World Cup, Vozinha, 40, signed an initial six-month contract, with the possibility of an extension for another season — 18 months in total. According to Chilean radio ADN, the salary will be 47 million Chilean pesos per month, about R$ 262 thousand at the current exchange rate, an amount close to the price of the SUV he received.
From the World Cup to the Monumental Stadium

The goalkeeper gained worldwide prominence in Cape Verde’s debut in World Cups. He was decisive in the draw against Spain, who would finish the tournament as champions, helped the island team to overcome the group stage and was only eliminated by Argentina, by a minimum difference, in the round of 16.
The performance had an immediate effect on social networks. The player’s profile jumped from about 45 thousand to 1 million followers in the 90 minutes of the match against the Spaniards, reaching approximately 17.4 million followers after the World Cup.
In Chile, Vozinha joins a squad that leads the Liga de Primera with 42 points, 12 ahead of Universidad de Chile, and that is chasing the national title — the most direct route to the next Copa Libertadores.

Football as a showcase for the Chinese brand
The partnership between Jetour and Colo-Colo began in 2024. Since then, the manufacturer has supplied units of the Dashing, T1 and T2 SUVs for the team’s daily commutes and trips. In 2026, the agreement was expanded to also include the women’s team.
According to the company, the action is part of the global strategy “Travel+ Sports”, which uses football as a platform to approach consumers in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. The same reasoning explains other brand initiatives in emerging markets, where sport precedes the arrival of products in stores.
In Brazil, Jetour landed in March 2026 with three plug-in hybrid SUVs: S06, T1 and T2. The T1 combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with electric powertrains and delivers 339 hp of combined power, according to the manufacturer. The battery has 26,7 kWh, the total range announced reaches 1,200 km and the line is divided into two versions: Advance, for R$ 249,900, and Premium, for R$ 264,900.
