Mercedes-Benz has expanded its line of electric vehicles in Brazil with the eSprinter 420 Glazed Van, a version developed for urban passenger transport and prepared to receive transformations that accommodate up to 16 occupants. The launch, which starts at R$ 306,370, reinforces the German brand’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions for large centers and expands the possibilities of the electric Sprinter, which debuted in the country at the end of 2024.
The eSprinter 420 is equipped with an 81 kWh battery, which guarantees a range of up to 329 kilometers in the WLTP cycle (about 280 km in the Inmetro cycle). The electrical assembly is formed by a permanent magnet synchronous motor installed on the rear axle, with 204 hp and 40,8 kgfm of torque. Recharging can be done in alternating current, with up to 11 kW, or in direct current, in stations of up to 50 kW.

The energy regeneration system recovers part of the load during decelerations, which increases energy efficiency and reduces operating costs. According to the manufacturer, the van also offers a load capacity of up to 1,425 kg, a number that allows it to reconcile passenger transport with other service demands.
With a wheelbase of 3.66 m, the van was designed to offer comfortable handling and ease of maneuvering on congested roads. The model has a turning circle of 13.4 meters and a reversing camera, features that help driving in reduced spaces and increase safety during operation.

Among the standard items, the eSprinter 420 Glazed Van features alloy wheels, MBUX multimedia center with 10.25″ screen and driver’s seat with heating and height adjustment. The list also includes driving assistants such as blind spot alert and lane keeping assistant.
Offered in Solid White and Metallic Silver, the model is now part of Mercedes-Benz’s electric portfolio in the country. The eSprinter family arrived in the Brazilian market at the end of 2024.

“With the eSprinter 420 Glazed Van, we further expand the application possibilities of our electric line. The vehicle has efficiency, autonomy, technology and versatility to meet the needs of urban passenger transport,” said Gabriel Valadão, head of Product and Homologation of Cars and Vans at Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans Brazil.
