The Chevrolet Equinox, GM’s medium-large SUV, continues to come from Mexico and by exemption from import tax offers a competitive price for its size. Among the highlights are the list of standard equipment such as a panoramic sunroof, face-to-face key, electric opening of the trunk lid, front seats with heating and ventilation, rain sensor and even a heated rear seat (except for the occupant of the central position).

During the evaluation, the silence on board drew attention. Suspensions (multi-link type rear) work very well even in light off-road use. Autonomous emergency braking system is something abrupt for the common conditions here in cities. Instrument panel configuration not very intuitive. Engine has good responses, but does not excite, as the mass of almost 1,700 kg limits acceleration: 0 to 100 km, 9,4 s (declared).
