The Ram Dakota has barely been launched and has already gained a new version. The Laramie Night Edition model will be presented during Agrishow to complement the range, the price has not yet been disclosed but should be above the R$ 322.990 charged by the “chrome” Laramie.

As usual, the Night Edition version swaps all chrome for a glossy black finish. This finish is applied to the 18-inch wheels, grille, skidplate, mirror caps, taillight frame and emblems.

The cabin also received a darkened finish. The brown leather finish on the seats, console and dashboard comes out to enter black. The headliner is also in this tone.

The Ram Dakota Laramie Night Edition also debuts a new color in the range, Tempest Blue. It will also be offered in the traditional Laramie version, while Warlock continues only with black, silver, gray and white paints.

The Dakota Laramie Night Edition equipment package has not changed. It continues with the 12.3-inch multimedia center, digital panel, ADAS package, adaptive cruise control, electrochromic rearview mirror, induction charger with cooling, six airbags, face-to-face key, two-zone air conditioning and electric adjustment in the front seats.

The mechanical set of the Ram Dakota is the same as the Fiat Titano, combining the 2.2 turbodiesel engine with 200 hp and 45,9 kgfm with the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The traction is 4×4 with reduced and has a center differential, which can act as an integral on the asphalt. The rear differential can be electronically locked.

Complementing these mechanical attributes are normal, sport, snow and sand/mud driving modes. They change traction control parameters, throttle map and other factors to optimize the pickup for the situation.

Stellantis has not disclosed when the Ram Dakota Laramie Night Edition will be launched. Those who want to know the model can see it at Agrishow, at a booth that will also have the Rampage Hurricane Flex and the 3500 Dually, which was also shown at the Motor Show.
