Some long-awaited novelties arrived in September 2025, such as GWM’s diesel line. These launches were carried out before the inauguration of the factory in Iracemápolis.

The Poer P30 is a traditional medium pickup truck that arrived with two versions. The Haval H9 is its SUV, with three rows of seats and costing less than rivals. Both use the 2.4 turbodiesel engine combined with a 9-male automatic transmission.

In this segment of utility vehicles, we also had the launch of the Mitsubishi Triton Tarmac. It is a limited edition pickup with 4×2 traction and aesthetic elements of the top-of-the-line Katana. With this configuration, it is also one of the most economical averages in the country.

Toyota went to another type of utility, entered the van segment once and for all. The Hiace is made in Argentina with the same mechanics as the Hilux and comes to Brazil only with automatic transmission. The brand’s fame will be a great attraction.

Another Toyota launch aimed at fleets was the Corolla GLI Hybrid, which has strong discounts for taxi drivers and PwD. At the other extreme we have the Golf GTI, where the buyer needs to meet some requirements to get in line.

Stellantis took advantage of September to change its French brands. At Peugeot, the hybrid versions of the 2008 GT and 208 GT were launched, with the same 12-volt light electrification as the Fiat Pulse.

Citroën changed the entire line. Aircross lost the “C3” in its name and limited the five-seat version to the entry-level model. At the top of the range came the adventurous XTR with mixed-use tires.

In the C3 hatch, the XTR version is the most complete 1.0, the turbo engine is only in You. The Basalt, on the other hand, won the Dark Edition, with a sportier feel. All three have gained improvements in finish and ergonomics.

Triton won the Tarmac limited edition, with 4×2 traction. It follows the formula of the Ford Ranger Black, with a fuller equipment package and focus on an audience that is interested in pickup trucks for their style.

Toyota entered the van market with the Hiace, produced in Argentina. It uses the same mechanical set as the Hilux, with a 2.8 turbodiesel engine and a six-speed automatic transmission.

Citroën has revived the XTR adventurous model in the compact C3 and the Aircross SUV. They have mixed-use tires to justify the look, but the suspension was not raised. This is not a problem, as they are already very tall models.

In the coupe SUV, the novelty is to have an edition with glossy black details, giving the model a sportier look. It also received improvements in the finish.

Stellantis put its 12-volt mild hybrid system in the GT versions of the 208 and 2008. This is the same set that already exists in the Fiat Pulse and Fastback, which will come to other models of the group in the future.

GWM Poer P30

GWM had confirmed Poer when it arrived in Brazil, but the launch only came after the inauguration of the factory. The medium is sold in two versions, always with a turbodiesel engine, and stands out for its technology in the cabin.

GWM Haval H9

The Haval H9 is the SUV derived from the Poer pickup, with the same turbodiesel set. As with the sister, the price is the highlight, as well as the interior space.
