The Interlagos Festival was not the only major show of 2025, this year also marked the return of the Motor Show. Therefore, many factories held their launches for November, but October had two big news.

The largest of them was the Renault Boreal, the brand’s first medium SUV in Brazil and the most sophisticated car produced by it on national soil. It is one of the most spacious in the segment, has a large trunk and a very modern interior, which even includes a massager in the seats and a central with native google.

The other big launch of the month was the Omoda 5 SHS-H, the hybrid version of the Chinese compact SUV. It has more than 200 hp and a modern look, and can be a thorn in the side of Toyota and BYD.

Omoda also launched the 7 SHS-P, sister of the Jaecoo 7. He is an alternative for those who prefer a bolder style than his brother.

GWM, on the other hand, went to another level, launched a luxury car. The WEY 07 is a car made for those who go in the back seat, which are two individual seats.

At the other extreme is the updated Renault Kwid E-Tech. The cheapest electric car changed its style, gained a new interior, digital dashboard, updated multimedia center and ADAS package. All this at least the price of the old one.

The 2026 Renault Kwid E-Tech line was aligned with the Dacia Spring EV sold in Europe and got a shop bath. The design has been updated, both inside and out. The hatch gained an ADAS package and maintained the price, continuing as the cheapest electric in Brazil.

Omoda 5 SHS-H

Omoda made a big bet by launching the 5 medium SUV in a full hybrid version. The model has an aggressive price to bother the traditional Toyota Corolla Cross.

The Omoda 7 is the brother of the Jaecoo 7, but bets on a sportier and more sophisticated look to ensure a different audience. Its mechanical set is the same plug-in hybrid with more than 300 hp.

Renault Boreal

Renault developed the Boreal in Brazil, a medium SUV with a strong appeal in sophistication. It has a 1.3 turbo engine and dual-clutch transmission. The cabin brings some unprecedented luxuries in the segment, such as seat massage.
