Model arrives competing in the hottest category on the market; set is more sophisticated than conventionally found on the brand's motorcycles
Shineray has just announced the official debut of the SBM 400ss in the Brazilian market. The hiker arrives competing in the category of medium trails, the hottest in the current national market. The Chinese brand’s new motorcycle promises more sophistication, quality, performance and technology than the brand’s popular motorcycles.

As much as it carries the name Shineray SBM, the new 400ss is manufactured by Lifan. Equipped with a 378 cm³ in-line twin-cylinder engine, the rail delivers 45.5 hp at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque of 3,7 kgfm at 7,500 rpm. The set is associated with a six-speed manual transmission and liquid cooling, a common configuration among current medium trails.
On the chassis, the motorcycle uses a truss-type steel structure and the 19-liter tank is slightly larger than average.
The front suspension consists of an inverted telescopic fork, while the rear adopts a monoshock system. And both travel is 75 mm and the wheels are 17 inches.

The braking system has two-channel ABS, with a double disc at the front, a feature already expected in the category and which contributes to greater control in emergency braking. The alloy wheels reinforce the model’s more urban and road positioning.
Among the equipment, the SBM 400SS has a TFT panel, which concentrates the main information digitally. The seat height is 800 mm, a number compatible with the average of the segment and which tends to facilitate access for riders of different heights.
