Naked receives update similar to that of the Honda NX500 and gains a new color option, keeping the mechanical and technological set unchanged
Honda updated its family of 500 motorcycles in the Brazilian market and, like the NX500, the CB500 Hornet became part of the 2027 lineup. The change was practically the same: the arrival of a new color option, keeping the mechanics, chassis and equipment already known from the brand’s average naked unchanged.

The main novelty of the CB500 Hornet 2027 is the inclusion of the Metallic Silver shade, which is now part of the range alongside the Red and Pearlescent Black options. As with the NX500, the update is focused on the look and does not bring technical changes.
Aimed at those looking for a medium-powered motorcycle with a sporty proposal, but without giving up practicality in daily use, the CB500 Hornet maintains the 471 cm³, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine, capable of delivering 49.6 hp of power at 8.500 rpm and torque of 4.5 kgf.m at 7.000 rpm. The set works together with a six-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch.

In the chassis part, the naked continues to use a Diamond steel chassis, Showa SFF-BP inverted front suspension and a Pro-Link rear system with preload adjustment. The 17-inch wheels are shod with radial tires, while the braking system has two-channel ABS, dual 296 mm front discs and 240 mm rear disc.

Among the equipment, the Honda CB500 Hornet 2027 continues to offer HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control) traction control, ESS emergency braking alert system, PGM-FI electronic injection, 5-inch color TFT panel with different viewing modes and backlit command on the left handlebar.
The lighting set is entirely LED, including the dual headlight, turn signals and flashlight. The model also maintains the two-level split seat and the straps for attaching luggage.

The Honda CB500 Hornet 2027 is expected to be available at the brand’s dealership network in June. The suggested public price is R$ 43.470, an amount that does not include shipping or insurance. The motorcycle has a three-year warranty, with no mileage limit, in addition to the Honda Assistance program throughout the coverage period.
