The first batch for sale of the new Aston Martin DBX S landed in São Paulo (SP) this week, consolidating itself as the British manufacturer’s new top of the line in Brazil. With a suggested price of R$ 3.6 million, the very high luxury SUV arrives with units intended for customers who have made reservations, in addition to copies for exhibition and prompt delivery. The model stands out for the transfer of performance technologies originating from the Valhalla supercar.

Engineering and track performance

The heart of the DBX S is the 4.0 twin-turbo V8 engine, tuned to deliver an expressive 727 hp and 91,8 kgfm. This mechanical set allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 310 km/h. The nine-speed automatic transmission operates in conjunction with a variable traction system, capable of directing up to 100% of the force to the rear axle, prioritizing sportier driving dynamics.

To optimize agility, Aston Martin applied rigorous mass reduction solutions. The model offers, as an option, a carbon fiber roof that eliminates 18 kg from the highest point of the vehicle, favoring the center of gravity. 23″ magnesium wheels and carbon-ceramic brake discs reduce unsprung mass, while revised air suspension limits body lean to just 1.5º in sharp corners.

Exclusivity in the interior finish

In terms of visuals, the DBX S is distinguished by its vertically stacked quad exhausts and the front grille with glossy black fins. The interior features Alcantara trim and semi-aniline leather with a herringbone pattern, as well as the “S” suffix embroidered on the headrests. Equipped with an 800 W premium audio system and the brand’s new electronic architecture, the SUV arrives to compete in the restricted segment of sports luxury in the domestic market.
