Geely beats rivals, sells more than 1,500 units of a single model and closes the year on the podium of electric cars
Geely ended 2025 with a significant advance in its Brazilian operation. Data released by the automaker indicate that December marked a new monthly record for the company, with a 75.5% growth in the volume of registrations compared to November. In all, 1,729 units of the brand’s electric models were registered in the period, against 985 in the previous month.
The performance consolidated the Chinese manufacturer as the third largest force in the 100% electric vehicle segment in Brazil in the year to date. Considering only the month of December, Geely obtained the second best performance in the category, signaling an acceleration in the acceptance of its products by the local consumer.

The main vector of this growth was the compact Geely EX2. In its first full month of sales, the model accounted for 1,557 units licensed, a jump of 86.5% over November’s numbers (835 units). The vehicle arrives in the country with the credential of being the best-selling car in the Chinese market, having surpassed the mark of 500 thousand units sold globally.
In the medium SUV segment, the Geely EX5 also showed a positive evolution. The model totaled 172 registrations in December — an increase of 22 units compared to the previous month — remaining in the sales leadership among electric vehicles in its category.
For Maurício Silveira Junior, the brand’s sales executive, the numbers reflect the strength of the dealership network and the strategy of attracting customers from various segments. The local result follows the global scenario of Geely Auto Group, which in 2025 exceeded its annual target with more than 3 million vehicles sold, registering a 90% increase in the sale of new energy models (NEV).
